Garment tags
A tag on every garment. No more mix-ups.

Questions
Do I need internet?+
No. Hangerdeck works fully offline. You only need data to sync between devices, send WhatsApp messages, back up to the cloud, or buy a licence.
How does the free trial work?+
Download and use every feature free for 30 days. No card needed. When you buy, your records stay exactly as they are.
Will my phone show the orders taken at the counter?+
Yes. Sync is on from the start: orders, payments and customers from the shop PC show up on your phone (and the other way round) whenever both have internet, usually within a couple of minutes. Add your phone in More → Sync → Add a device.
Who can see my records?+
Only your devices. Records are encrypted on your phone or PC before they are sent, so even Hangerdeck cannot read your customers or orders. The owner can turn sync off in Settings (with their PIN) to keep everything on one device only.
How many devices can I use?+
Every licence includes 2 devices for the same shop, for example the counter PC and your phone. Need another counter or a manager's phone? Each extra device is ₦20,000 a year, added at hangerdeck.com/add-device.
What happens if my licence expires?+
You get 7 days of grace, then new orders pause until you renew. You can still view orders, take payments, give customers their clothes, print receipts and back up. Your records are never locked.
I have more than one branch.+
Each branch needs its own licence (₦50,000 per year). Multi-branch reporting is coming soon.
Can my staff steal from me with it?+
Hard. Every order and payment records which staff member handled it. Cashiers cannot change prices, see reports, cancel orders, refund, or release clothes with money still owed, and can only give discounts you set up. Every discount, refund, cancellation and change is in your Activity log, with who did it.
What if an order was saved with a mistake?+
Nothing is ever deleted. Add or remove items, change the customer or ready-by time, refund a payment or cancel the order. Cancelled orders stay on record (with who, when and why) and leave your sales figures.
Which receipt printer should I buy?+
Any 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printer. On a phone, a Bluetooth one: pair it in the phone settings, choose it in Hangerdeck and press Test print. On a PC, a USB one with its Windows driver.
Do I need special printers or scanners for tags?+
No. Tags print on your normal 58mm or 80mm receipt printer, or on A4 to cut out. Scanning works with your phone camera or any USB scanner on a PC. Many shops simply write each code on their own tags with a permanent marker; Hangerdeck lists the codes to write.
Will tags survive washing and ironing?+
Receipt-paper tags are for drop-off and the rack: heat from the iron turns them black. For tags that stay on through washing and pressing, use an impact (dot-matrix) printer with tag paper, a label printer with washable nylon tape, or handwritten tags in permanent marker. You choose in More > Garment tags.
Can I sell laundry packages?+
Yes. Make packages like "30 pieces a month" or "native wear for the festive season". Set the price, how long it lasts, and what it covers: any item except duvets and agbada, or only the items you choose. Customers can pay in parts, and every receipt shows what is left.
How do I pay?+
Card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack, right here on the website. Your licence key appears as soon as payment is confirmed. You can also buy on WhatsApp.
